Why Kappa Sigma?
Kappa Sigma is the largest college social fraternity in the world with more than 200,000 members, including 17,000 undergraduates at more than 300 chapters and colonies located throughout the United States and Canada.
The Beta-Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Missouri S&T has again won the prestigious FACE award this year and 9 of the last 10 years. FACE is the Founders Award for Chapter Excellence and is the national benchmark award in Kappa Sigma recognizing the very best undergraduate chapters. Members are focused on academics, philanthropy, community involvement, fitness, and building leadership characteristics.
Our 96 man, 26,000 sq. ft. home sets on 2 acres at the entrance to the university. Being recently remodeled our chapter house is one of the nicest facilities on campus, with a computer room, dedicated study room, sand volleyball court, a soccer field, weight room, pool table, and basketball court. It is one of the very few houses on campus that offers accommodations with private bathrooms and living rooms. We have the largest rooms on campus.

Scholarship
Education is priority number one in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Consistently having a house GPA above the All Men’s & All Greek average proves this. With over $100,000 in our Endowment Fund available for scholarships there is no shortage of scholarships that can be handed out for excellence.
Alumni of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity provide the funding for scholarships. This year Kappa Sigma alumni provided $14,000 of scholarships as financial aid to its members at MST. Go to the scholarship page and apply.

Leadership
Most members inside of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity are leaders inside and outside of the house. A large majority of our Brothers hold leadership positions in campus organizations while holding one in the house as well. This is a perfect recipe for success when joining the work force.
Brotherhood
The friendships and brotherhood that you obtain immediately is priceless. The Brothers you make are not for a day or only a college term, but for life. This is extremely helpful with networking and having solid friendships throughout your entire life.
Service
Our Chapter alone completes over 7500+ hours of community service per school year. This reminds each member of a really important lesson in life and that is giving back. After a college term of community service makes our Brothers continue to care about the community in which they live.
